Nice, clean, and spacious. Buses are free and convenient. Outside is very beautiful! Friendly and helpful staff.
Buses are operated at free of cost when I am writing this. You get connecting buses to different places from Cary Station. Google Maps comes handy and it will help you understand which bus numbers you can board to reach your destinations. If you hop on any of the buses they have a pamplet detailed about the routes, bus number and the timings you can pick one of those for references
You have to buy an Amtrak ticket to use the restroom. Even if it's an emergency. Even if it's a child. If that's the way the town or Cary wants to operate, then they need to have Porta potties that they maintain regularly with at least one that is handicap accessible . They should not be able to refuse the restroom. It's a public place for crying out loud. Since they decided to take away access to restrooms I can't tell you how often I see men urinating out in the open & some expose themselves on purpose. It's just created an unsanitary, unsafe & honestly pretty scary daily experience. It's a shame because it is a very nice facility that is clean & very convenient. But now they basically discriminate against the very people using their services.

- Ask drivers about route changes before boarding buses to ensure they go where you need them to go
Reviews
The Cary Depot is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful exterior. Visitors appreciate the free and convenient bus services available from the station to various destinations. However, there are complaints about restroom access restrictions for non-train users and occasional issues with unhelpful staff members. Despite these drawbacks, many find the facility clean, convenient, and secure.

Often the drivers change the marquis of the bus (the panel that displays the route and destination) right before they take off without telling anyone so make sure you ask if the bus is going where you need it to. I confronted one of them and he said he didn't give a damn. STG.
Bathroom is only for train users even though it’s a train AND bus station! I was having my women monthly issues and I simply wanted to put something on so it could stop leaking through my undergarments and the insensitive WOMAN who should’ve understood completely pretty much didn’t care and said walk across the street. Disgusting.
